Success

Bessie Anderson Stanley wrote a poem in 1904 entitled "Success."
There are many variations of this poem circulating around, and credit has been given to several different authors as well. However, whichever way you slice it, the message is a good one!

It reads in its entirety:

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much;
Who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty or failed to express it;
Who has left the world better than he found it,
Whether an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration;
Whose memory a benediction

If A Man Wants You

I stumbled upon this when i was surfing randomly.Its a great wisdom piece for women.When i read it,the first reaction that i gave out was,"This makes sense!".So i am sharing especially for all my sisters around the world.And ladies trust me,you'll thank your stars for reading this.

Below is a note especially for the ladies ( but men may benefit from this) written by a man.It is called:

' If a man wants you,nothing can keep him away,
if he doesn't want you ,nothing can make him stay.

Stop making excuses for a man & his behavior
Allow your intuition to save you from heartache

Stop trying to change your self for a relationship that's
not meant to be-slower is better

Never live your life for a man until you find out what truly
makes you happy.

If a relationship Ends because the man was not treating you
as you deserve,then heck no,you can't be friends!
A friend would not mistreat a friend.

Don't settle-if you feel like he is stringing you along,he probably is
Don't stay because you think "It will get better" You will be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are NOT better!

The only person you can control in a relationship is you!
Avoid men with a bunch of children with different women,
He didn't marry them-why would he treat you differently?

Always have your own set of friends,separate to his.
Maintain boundaries in how a man treats you
If something bothers you,SPEAK UP!

Never let a man know everything,he will use it against you later!
You can not change a mans behavior
Change comes from within.

Don't EVER make him feel more important than you are
He is a man ,nothing more nothing less.
Never let a man define who you are!

Never borrow someone else's man,
if he cheated with you,he will cheat ON you!

A man will only treat you how you ALLOW yourself to be treated
All men are not dogs!

You should not be the one doing all the bending,
Compromise is a two way street.

You need time to heal between relationships,
there is nothing CUTE about baggage!
Deal with your issues BEFORE pursuing a new Relationship.

You should never look for someone to complete you,
A relationship consists of two whole individuals-
Look for someone complimentary not supplementary.

Dating is fun! Even if he dost turn out to be MR Right!
Make him miss you sometimes-when a man knows where you are
& your always readily available-he takes it for granted!

Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything you need
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

Share this with other ladies!
It will make someone SMILE, another RETHINK ,and another PREPARE!

You do remember the *"TWIN TOWERS"? The 3,000+ people who died that day?
Below is actual stuff that happened that sad day. it was not their time to
die.
The events listed below are realy something to ponder.
I guess we are all lucky in all different ways.

The "LITTLE" Things

As you might remember,
the head of a company survived 9/11
Because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
A blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today..

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be
At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that
God is at work watching over you.

None of the above

Very often when you just can't decide between two or more options,  it's because the answer that would most give you peace is actually, "None of the above."
But not always,anyways

Never be too proud of who you are and  what position you hold
because after a game of chess the king and
the pawns are tossed Into the same box!

Life holds both sunshines and showers

Rainbows would never be rainbows
If sunshine had never met rain
No one would ever need comfort
If there was no sadness and pain
But life holds both sunshine and showers
The days aren't all bright and fair
So look through the showers for the rainbows
You'll always find hope shining there..
